PCMark ha sido hasta el momento un producto de Futuremark cuya fama y difusión no se acerca ni remotamente a la popularidad, masividad, brillo y fuegos artificiales de 3DMark, pero según la empresa esto cambiará pronto.

La última edición de PCMark corresponde al año 2005, una época que suena al pasado remoto cuando de la potencia disponible en los computadores de escritorio, por lo cual es hora de darle un refresco.

La nueva versión, exclusiva para Windows Vista, no se llamará PCMark2007… de hecho tampoco PCMark2008 como yo había pensado. Se llamará PCMark Vantage y viene con los siguientes requerimientos:
