Y hablando de computadoras de bajo costo, Shuttle recientemente anunció una nueva nettop dual-core. Se trata del Shuttle X270V antes visto como un Barebone X27D, ahora vienes con el sistema operativo Linux, openSUSE 11 corriendo en un procesador Intel dual-core Atom 330 a 1.6 GHz con 1 GB de RAM, disco duro SATA de 160 GB, una tarjeta gráfica Intel GMA950 y una tarjeta de sonido Realtek ALC 662.

El equipo cuenta con Ethernet, 6 puertos USB, PS/2 y salida de video VGA y DVI. Su precio es de €299, por desgracia sólo estará disponible en Europa.
